Hex inwardly beamed to herself as she padded into the meadow, soft grasses and various flowers lightly tickling her underbelly. She let out a happy sigh; New Leaf had only occurred a few days ago but it seemed majority of the snow had melted and the meadow was starting to bloom. Hmm, this looks like good spot. Hex mused as brown eyes briefly glanced down to survey the ground. It looks pretty dry plus, it's also in the sun... Ehh, whatever. Raising her shoulders in a mock shrug, Hex lay down and curled her tail around herself while she placed her head on her paws. Training had finished up about an hour ago and so the female decided to relax in the meadow as opposed to the dens and fortunately for Hex, her mentor agreed to let her go. As much as she loved her pack, Hex desperately needed a change of scenery. It was... Just too boring and repetitive for her tastes. And besides, the meadow had everything a wolf could ask for: sun, beautiful scenery and an abundance of snacks.
I'm getting hungry thinking about it, Hex smirked to herself, Wait, what's that noise?! Dark ears instinctually perked up at the sound of a twig being snapped, listening intently. She wasn't alone anymore; that was certain. Her fur stood on end and fluffed up, just in case the other wolf wasn't friendly. But Hex relaxed ever so slightly when she took a deep breath and (accidentally) inhaled the other's scent. She knew it well; it belonged to a pack member. "Oh hi." Hex greeted, rather awkwardly while her ears flattened against her skull in a sheepish manner. She mentally berated herself for her awkwardness. Notes: Open to all! Set a few days after the current threads though~

Amira
Amira plucked a newly sprouted flower, delicately tucking it into her ruff. She would keep it here until she returned to her den. New Leaf was her favorite time of year. So. Many. Herbs. And a lot for a young shaman to do! She was beginning to spend much of her time gathering all the little things she would need throughout the year. At the end of Leaf-Bare, her stores were a little more than empty it felt. Plus, there was nothing like warm sunshine on your fur after a few long, cold moons. She was mostly looking for chamomile but anything that was useful would be gladly stuffed into her fur. She paused in her search for a moment, stretching her paws out in front of her and yawning slightly. Maybe a nap would be good? She shook her head, no naps wouldn't heal anyone. Well.. Her napping wouldn't heal anyone..
She spotted something yellow only moments before hearing something just beyond. The Shaman tilted her head one way, and then the next. The danger of it being another pack wolf seemed to slip her mind. After all, shamans were to be treated well by both sides. Leaving the yellow thing, she crept closer, silently, only to find Hex. Amira grinned softly, dipping her head to the Novice. "Hello to you as well." Her voice soft as she eyed the youngster. Even during a casual encounter, it was Amira's job to keep everyone healthy. Nex simply looked a bit frazzled, maybe embarrassed. "Have you been training today?" When were the young novices not training? That was the real question.
