Pelt Description: Ellen has a fiery, red orange base coat that stands out among all of the rest. It is not the typical coat composed of russets, chestnuts, and chocolates commonly seen in other red wolves. But there is no mistaking that she is indeed a red wolf whatsoever. The red that Ellen possesses is more like cinnamon, paprika or perhaps even curry colored. This shading starts from the point of her nose, travels down the ridge of her spine, and tapers off near her tail tip. On Ellen’s underbelly, chin, and legs there is a cream shade that appears. Additionally, there are splashes of black or brown throughout the female’s coat, though not too many.
When it comes to texture, the she-wolf’s coat is thick and bushy, even when she sheds a lot during the spring. If one piece of fur comes out, it seems like another five quickly grow to replace it. And even though Ellen keeps her coat as clean and neat as possible, there is still an unruly nature to it, so it is never fully “tidy” or “proper.” Her coat definitely matches her spirit; one that is wild and bright, but soft and comforting all the same.
Personality: The absolute, very best word to describe Ellen is spicy. She is an outgoing wolf with a spirit that cannot, and will not ever, be put out. Ellen’s personality is infectious, bold, and vivacious. If no one else will step up to the plate and take initiative, then this female will. She is very strong willed, determined, and stubborn as rocks. Like, big boulder rocks too, not just measly pebbles. Ellen is not beyond getting into another wolf’s face, and giving them what for. She will read another wolf’s mail and give it to them straight. She has got a sharp, silver tongue and an accent for days. Reserve is not a thing that she really has in most cases. This she-wolf has a rebellious streak to her, when it comes to matters of the heart. If she sets her mind to it, then there is no arguing her out of it. Ellen will win in the end. The thing about red heads having tempers can certainly be applied here, because she has one on occasion.
With all this being said, Ellen is not made of all thorn and bramble bushes. She is a loving wolf, and will risk life and limb for her family. Her loyalty is unshakable and devotion unmatched by anyone. Ellen is not stuck on herself, and will listen to reason, but to a point. Ellen is a spitfire lass, but has courage and heart. Wisdom and discretion are some more of her strong suits, and she is creative. Intelligence clearly marks her features and reflects in any and everything that she does. Ellen’s lovely gray eyes are full of compassion and kindness, and those too can be seen on a daily basis. Overall, this female is a very good asset to have at one’s side.

History: Ellen was born into a large clan of wolves from far across the sea. Her life started out in the usual way, with family, friends, and all sorts of familiar faces hanging around. Ellen had two older brothers before her, who were one day destined to lead the clan as chieftain and war chieftain. And being that that was the case, she grew up to be somewhat of a tomboy, instead of a perfect priss. The Mackenzie wolves were a strong clan, dominating anyone who dared stand in their path. Ellen learned how to fight for herself and became a bonny lass as the days went by.
It was only the virus that was strong enough to take the Mackenzie wolves out. One by one, the strongest of warriors began getting ill and passing shortly after. Wolves that were expected to survive did not live beyond a week. Ellen’s father and mother decided that she would be the key to survival. By marrying her off to a male of another clan, perhaps new pups would be produced, and the virus would not spread genetically. But, Ellen was not having it one tiny bit. She eloped with a man called Brian, and she went from being a Mackenzie to a Fraser. No pups were able to be produced however. This was because within a short period of time, Brian contracted the disease himself, and passed away.
As one can imagine, Ellen was absolutely heartbroken and devastated. It was one of the few times Ellen ever cried in public as she never had before. She left her clan, her family, everyone behind without delay. It seemed like she ran and ran for weeks without stopping, even for food or sleep. The red woman soon found herself in foreign territory, setting her sights on becoming a Nightshade wolf.
