Pelt Description: Definitely Out of the more rarer coloration, Calla's pelt is a silvery galaxy . Not to grey and not to white, her hue holds a predominant color metallic gray, while her marking are somewhat "unusual". Each leg carries a half sock, colored in a walnut brown, along with her tail and muzzle. From her forehead to her lower spine carries the same coloration as her paws and tail, while her underbelly is a little bit softer in color.
Carrying her mother's scent, Calla smells like fresh rain. Her pelt is on the thicker side, which gives it a water repellent aspect. She stands 33 inches at the shoulder and weighs precisely 130 pounds. While this is on the larger side of the typical timber wolf, Calla holds no shame in her build, as she specializes in both combat and hunting.
Personality: Born to the Alpha pair, Calla has the characteristics of a leader.
Protectiveness || Fiercely protect over her packmates and close friends, Calla is not one to toy with. Often times she can be what her mother would have called "foolishly protective" as she would throw herself infront of danger to protect those within her pack without any regrets.
Calculative || This female is a very calculative wolf. Often times upon first meeting, Calla may seem a little wary of new / stranger wolves, as she prefers to read everyone's intentions before allowing herself to become "comfortable" with those she does not know.
Communicator || Calla is one who is very open, and does not hesitate to express her dreams and visions with others. If she feels a situation is dangerous or a waste of time, she will tell you, and work with you to come up with a better / safer idea. When problems arise while she may not be one to back down, she can almost always pinpoint the problem and make a better solution to keep everyone satisfied. This is a trait from her father.
Confident || While she is not cocky, this female is confident in every decision she makes. Growing up, her father always taught her that a pack can not put their faith in you if you seem nervous or undecided about your next move, due to this, she is quick to assess and react to a situation without hesitation.
Intuition || Fearlessness || Focus || The last three traits of this female are those of intuition , fearlessness and focus. Not one to be easily distracted, her focus stubborn, as some may call it. She is one to have a clear focus, and set priorities ahead of time, setting deadlines and backup plans to make sure everything goes as planned. Fearlessness is almost natural for this she-wolf. She is not afraid to take risks or new challenges, even if they are at last minute. Her beliefs are that life is to short to spend it hesitating, and each second you spend waiting on a reaction or better outcome is another second wasted that could have been towards your success. Lastly, Calla has intuition. When things get hectic, this female can call on previous experiences and rely on intuition to make decisions that will help her pack be successful.
Primary Pack and Rank: NightShade (Auditioning For Lead Hunter )
History: As mentioned above, Calla was born to the dominant pair of the Creek pack. As an only child, many would think her life came easy and that she was spoon fed, however, this was not always the case. Her father, Bane was a very dominant and successful wolf, leading many battles and recruiting parties to help their pack grow in size. While he did that, Akela (Her mother) was placed in charge of staying with the pack and running it as effectively as she could. This meant that as soon as she could walk properly, Calla was given tasks and challenges that would help her to become a better leader. "Everything we do, everything we place on you is to ensure that one day, you can be a better leader then we were" Her mother explained to her one night as she plucked porcupine quills from her daughters pelt.
Upon the age of 6 months, Calla already new pretty much everything she needed to know. She was placed in the more advanced ranks, and was set to graduate at the young age of 9 months. This was never the case, as tragedy struck her pack long before. A virus called Parvo had swept through Creek pack's territory, and sooner then later bodies were being dropped left and right. Bane called a meeting, and decided that the pack was to move to a newer location, hoping to avoid any traces remaining of the disease. He died before they could make that trip. As expected of a mated female, Calla's mother was heartbroken, and tried to lead her pack to the best of her abilities, eventually she too died.
At 8 months, not yet even a yearling, Calla lost both of her parents, and her leaders. Her pack was going through a tough time, females and males fighting over who was to claim the newest rank of dominance. Agitated and at loss for words, the young female broke away from her birth pack, using the skills she had been taught at such an early age. This continued for about a year and a half, and upon two years she had stumbled into another pack's territory. Apparently they too were trying to get over the affects of the disease, as many casualties were taken in the last few years. A male by the name of Nikai ( Pronounced Na - keye) had taken over dominance within this new pack, and alongside him she became the dominant female for the remainder of her second year in life.
Unhappy with the pack's laws and traditions, Calla once again broke away, to where she then found herself on the outskirts of Nightshade's territory. Here she hopes to find a new home, a family, and live out the rest of her life.
